HAAS PANNER (MONO & STEREO)
---------------------------

Positions (pans) a signal horizontally in the stereo panorama using transaural delay (Haas effect).
Note that, unlike traditional level-based panning, the signal level is NOT affected.
Pan value ranges from -5 (left) to 0 (center) to +5 (right).

Despite changes in the Pan value are smoothed to prevent clicks, pan is NOT MEANT TO BE DYNAMICALLY MODULATED. It has therefore been provided as a Float control pin and not as an Audio pin.

The (unexposed) mS Max pin adjusts the maximum transaural delay in milli-seconds for a signal panned all the ways to the left (-5) or to the right (+5). About 20 mS (default) seems the upper limit, over which one ear will start perceiving the signal as physically delayed with respect to the other ear. This value can however be adjusted to alter the useful range of the pan control.

NOTE: This module was mainly conceived to position a MONO signal in the stereo panorama; however, the same principle can also be applied to stereo signals, therefore a stereo version is also provided.

NOTE: Combining the resulting stereo signal to a mono signal will result in some degree of comb filtering, this is absolutely normal and expectable since you are summing a signal with a delayed copy of itself.
