REPORT LATENCY
--------------

Reports an user-defineable latency in samples or milli-seconds for global latency compensation.

You must enable Delay Compensation in SynthEdit Prefs (Delay Compensation = FULL)
When exporting the plugin, you shall also select LATENCY COMPENSATION = FULL.
The module shall ideally be placed at the very audio output in case latency is global, in which case you shall use one module for every output audio channel. If latency is localized, add one module downstream the latent line to be compensated.

This module should not be used if your project already includes one or more modules which report a latency for latency compensation. It can be useful when latency is intrinsic with your project and fixed, and depends on some parameters of the modules employed, or when using modules which introduce latency but which do not report it for compensation.

For covenience, latency can now be specified in samples and also in milli-seconds. Keep in mind that only the value specified on the pin corresponding to the selected units by the (unexposed) Units pin will be used.

LATENCY IS NOT MEANT TO BE MADE USER SELECTABLE OR MODULATED.
WHENEVER THE LATENCY PIN IS CHANGED, THE WHOLE PLUGIN IS RESETTED, THE AUDIO ENGINE RESTARTED, EVERY MODULE IN YOUR PROJECT WILL BE RE-INITIALIZED AND OTHER PLUGINS IN YOUR DAW PROJECT MAY BE RE-INITIALIZED ASWELL.
